dick ket’s self portrait
during my residency in amsterdam (2018), i came across a self-portrait by italian artist Dick Ket, and I just had to make my own version of it. At the museum, I scribbled it into my sketchbook. about five years later I painted it - injecting my own perspective and warped memory of the painting to it. Now it's become something new.
